Watch-IT ASCII-75 is an application for intelligent unattended Wireless Messaging (paging or text messaging) of ASCII data from any source. A similar version is also available to run as a Windows service (Watch-IT ASCII SV ™).
Watch-IT ASCII File Processor allows automated dispatch of messages from any computer system platform from downloaded ASCII text files. Watch-IT ASCII scans for the presence of a pre-determined delimited text file on a local or LAN Drive and extracts the "User names or Wireless Receiver numbers and associated message information." Once a message file has been processed and transferred to the service providers' system, Watch-IT ASCII optionally creates logging and post processing files. The Watch-IT ASCII is commonly used to "wireless enable" customer services dispatch systems, network problem reporting systems, E-Mail systems, batch process notification, and alarm condition notification. The Watch-IT ASCII is also compatible with any system that can produce an ASCII file, including UNIX and mainframes. Includes initial 90-Days of AlphaCare Support Services. Watch-It Serial™ Serial Interface Monitor allows automated dispatch of wireless messages from any computer system platform by monitoring a serial port information stream. Watch-It Serial scans the serial information, filters the data through a user-friendly configuration screen, and initiates appropriate wireless messages to individuals and groups. Once the messages have been processed and transferred to the wireless service provider, Watch-It Serial optionally creates logging and post processing files.
The Watch-It Serial is used to enable wireless messaging for industrial plant monitoring systems, fire and alarm panels, public utilities (SCADA systems), and systems with data-log reporting to a serial port or printer. InfoRad® TAP-Connect™ Wireless Gateway is a powerful front end software solution that will process incoming TAP messages (via modem or serial port)directly through the InfoRad Wireless Enterprise SV or InfoRad Watch-IT ASCII SV messaging software. Incorporating the TAP-Connect™ Wireless Gateway adds additional capability and versatility to your messaging environment while maintaining a high level of control, security and reliability over your enterprise messaging network.
Technically speaking, the InfoRad® TAP-Connect™ Wireless Gateway output is monitored by InfoRad Enterprise SV or Watch-IT ASCII SV software for incoming TAP messages. Upon detection and confirmation of a valid TAP number, the message or messages are dispatched to the intended receiver(s). The incoming TAP number to the gateway can be assigned to an individual receiver or group of receivers within the InfoRad Enterprise SV or Watch-IT ASCII SV software. The InfoRad Enterprise SV or Watch-IT ASCII SV software will validate, direct and/or redirect and log all message transactions to the designated carriers including private systems. Outgoing multiple message protocol support and “Route-On-Failure” are provided via SNPP, WCTP, SMTP, NEW InfoRad Messaging Gateway, and TAP including dial-up modem and direct serial TAP.
